On May 8th, the 1990s R&B singing groups SWV and Xscape did a Verzuz. Before the event, two members of SWV spoke to TMZ Live and stated that they were going to add their single "Right Here" in the playlist. The song was one of their biggest hits.
Rest in Peace to DMX, Mary Brookins and Howard Weitzman
In April, iconic rapper, DMX passed away after suffering a heart attack. He was a huge fan of soul music and often played Michael and the Jacksons music. He stated in an interview that the Off The Wall album changed his life.
May he Rest in Peace and my prayers with his family, loved ones and fans.
Mary Brookins was a dedicated MJ fan who did so many things for the fan community. From the Facebook Page Michael Jackson Legacy, a wonderful tribute to Mary.
Mary was the director of the Anti-Defamation Legacy Law Advocates and wanted to bring changes to the law to protect the deceased from defamation. Here is an video that goes into detail about this law -
May Mary Rest in Peace and my condolences to her family and loved ones.
Howard Weitzman, the lawyer for the MJ Estate and the executors, passed away from cancer.
