Show Notes -
Producer Dr. Dre Not Working With Michael
Dr. Dre did an interview with comedian, actor and business man Kevin Hart about the time he decided not to work with legends Michael, Stevie Wonder and Prince. This was revealed on Kevin Hart's NBC streaming channel Peacock show called Hart to Heart. Here is the video of what he stated and after the video, an article that People.com did on this subject -
Former MTV VJ/Personality Bill Bellamy Talks About Michael.
Former MTV VJ and Comedian Bill Bellamy released a book some months ago about his life and his time working for MTV. Of course, he interviewed Michael during the History era in 1995 and that was a very good interview -
In his book, he discusses Michael and People.com states what he stated about Michael and the late great rapper Biggie Smalls -
Famed director Antoine Fuqua did an interview with GMA 3 about his movie with Denzel Washington called The Equalizer 3 and the MJ Biopic that he is set to direct.
Michael vs. Taylor Swift: Why is this a Thing?
The constant thing on social media is to compare Michael Jackson to Drake, Chris Brown and Beyonce. The latest one to be compared to Michael is singer Taylor Swift. She did a very successful, sold out tour called Eras and her popularity reminds people of the heydays of Michael and Madonna. As we all should know, comparing Michael to her or any of her counterparts is laughable and it hurts them more than it will ever hurt Michael.
Michael's Birthday Celebrations Highlights
Spike Lee's Michael Jackson vs. Prince BK Celebration on the surface seemed like an interesting idea. As the event was happening, there was a unexpected "surprise" (or nightmare) that occurred.
This was unacceptable. A reminder of what Chris Rock is truly about -
There are videos of the event that are posted on youtube. Here is one of them -
As usual, Prince's bitter fans could not stand the MJ love so they had to start some mess they should have kept to themselves. Here is the comment from Twitter/X that started the nonsense:
This led to a few insults some of the Prince fans threw at Michael which prompted someone to state this about Prince:
Wow...
Then, entertainment lawyer, Londell McMillian decided to add this interesting tidbit about Michael and Prince:
After what took place with the Spike Lee "celebration" I decided to no longer support the event.
There will be times where people who feel some type of way about Michael will state things or post things to get the people to focus on the nonsense and not the facts. A so called historian and cultural critic who wrote for publications like Vibe, decided to post a very odd article that the Village Voice did on Michael back the 1980s.
A fan by the name of DrClaww77 on Instagram decided to post a tribute to Michael that refuted the nonsense from the 1987 Village Voice article:
It is always a reminder that when Michael is honored on his birthday, the mainstream media will never do a tribute to him. They have decided that if there is nothing negative, they will not report it. However, some members of that media could not help themselves and mentioned his birthday on social media. The response is interesting. Check out the likes from this post I saw on Facebook:
Every year, the fans go out of their way to honor Michael on his birthday. Here are some of the highlights:
Articles/blogs written by MJ fans about Michael and his impact -
Youtbers Nicole's View, Afro Elite and Taurean Reign Reloaded did a tribute to Michael and discussed the two liars that want his money.
My view of a fan who went to the event in Las Vegas.
After The Grio decided to entertain Toure's nonsense about MJ on the anniversary of his vindication in June, anything The Grio post on Michael should be ignored:
Michael's nephew Austin Brown, did an article for BET.com about his uncle. Here is the link:
Comedian Amy Sedikis praised MJ on his birthday and Harvey Levin claimed she was attacked badly. Really???
The Estate of Michael Jackson did their annual birthday celebration on Michael and they made sure to continue with the nonsense. Let's start with their live feed event where reps for the executors interview Myles Frost.
The usual people were there like Michael Bush, Big Al and you guess it, Bill Whitfield.
Fans need a former bodyguard and his book to remind them that MJ was human.... I see.
So, let's get right to the nonsense
Say what, now???
Prince's interview with Mike Tyson-
What in the world is she even talking about? I found this out on that TMZ Live mess and shook my head. Of course that demon Levin defended it and saw nothing nothing wrong with it. Her nonsense spread like crazy and she got the attention that she craved.
Look at the views..... not honoring your father will make you look lame.
Of course, her very small "fan community" defended the nonsense.
Yet, Kobe Bryant's daughters and his widow supported him a week before MJ's birthday and it is obvious they had no issue doing so.
Michael was also honored. None of his children were there and that was not a surprise.
Twenty years ago, Michael celebrated his 45th birthday. People who cared about him were there, he received the love and he had a great time with the fans that were for him.
Remember when the Jacksons celebrated Michael in Gary some ten years prior? Why did that stop? Only cousins and the community celebrate Michael's birthday in Gary.
Michael continues to dominate -
Is the MJ fan community doomed in the next ten years?
